Risk disclosure

Last updated October 25, 2026

Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose some or all of the money you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Education, not advice

The Bread and Butter Trading Program is an educational course. Nothing on this site, in the course, or in any video is financial, investment or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or futures contract. Talk to a licensed professional about your own situation.

Examples are hypothetical

Dollar figures, the move calculator, and trade examples show how the math works. They leave out commissions, fees and slippage, and they don't represent your results. A move against you costs the same as a move in your favor.

CFTC Rule 4.41

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.

Funding accounts

Funding (prop firm) evaluations are sold by third parties. Their prices, rules, drawdown limits and payout terms are set by them and change often. Many people do not pass evaluations. Read each firm's rules before you buy.

Individual results vary

Results depend on your decisions, discipline, the market and many other factors. Past results, including any shown by us or by anyone else, do not guarantee future results.
